Joyce Draper, Founder, and Owner, Draper College Consulting

Joyce Draper has more than six years of experience as a college counselor working with students based in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area and remotely. Joyce received her Master’s Degree in School Counseling and she earned her college counseling certificate from UCLA. She is a member of the Higher Education Consultants Association (HECA), the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA) and the Potomac and Chesapeake Association for College Admissions Counseling (PCACAC). Joyce works with a range of clients, from students with learning differences to students heading to highly selective colleges and universities. Her goal in founding Draper College Consulting was to find a way to help students and parents find colleges that provide academic, social and financial fit, where students can grow and flourish.

Amanda Draper, Social Media Director and Consultant

Amanda is the voice of Draper College Consulting online and across all of our social media pages, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram. Amanda is charged with managing and directing our digital and social media strategy and conducting research as needed for Joyce. When Amanda is not working for DCC, she writes, creates content and digital strategy. She is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of The Testimony Project, Washington D.C. and she has her own blog, Mi vida en Medellín, a travel and lifestyle blog which provides recommendations and tips for travelers and expats in the City of Eternal Spring and Rio de Janeiro.
